Amanda grew up in Urbandale, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religious Studies. Upon graduation, she attended the University of Iowa College of Law, during which time she clerked for National School Boards Association, Governor Brandstad’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa. While at Iowa law, Ms. Bartusek served as a student writer for the Journal of Corporation Law and as a student representative on the Curriculum Committee. Since graduation, she has distinguished herself as a strong legal advocate, having had success in both criminal and civil matters.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading, and running.
