Chelsea Rivas

Chelsea Rivas is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate studies, and she graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology. After graduation, Chelsea worked as a program coordinator for a youth non-profit for several years. She then went on to work for Rainwater, Holt, & Sexton as a pre-litigation personal injury case manager.

Chelsea moved to Houston, TX to pursue law school in 2018. During the application process and while studying for the LSAT, Chelsea worked for Amaro Law Firm as a pre-litigation personal injury case manager. Her experience as a case manager at both firms is what inspired her to follow through with her law school dreams.

Chelsea received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in May of 2022. While at the University of Houston Law Center, she served as the Community Outreach Editor for the Houston Law Review and participated in the Texas Consumer Law Clinic as a state-bar qualified law student. During and after law school, she worked for two different insurance defense firms.

Chelsea recently re-joined Amaro Law firm, but this time, as an associate attorney. She is grateful to be working in personal injury law again and is honored to make a career out of fiercely advocating for personal injury clients.

Chelsea is a proud resident of Fort Bend County, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She is also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, traveling, and trying out new recipes.
