Will McMillan is an experienced and dedicated litigation attorney at Amaro Law Firm, bringing over 15 years of legal expertise to his practice. With a strong focus on personal injury law, he is passionate about advocating for clients in wrongful death cases, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, work-related injuries, brain injuries, and a range of other civil litigation matters.
Will’s diverse background, having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, provides him with a unique perspective and a strategic edge in the courtroom. His extensive trial experience, coupled with a deep commitment to justice, allows him to deliver exceptional representation and strong advocacy on behalf of his clients.
Will’s journey into law was driven by his desire to help others. Early in his career, he worked for Lone Star Legal Aid, a non-profit organization, where he honed his skills litigating cases before judges and juries. This invaluable experience laid the foundation for his future as a trial attorney. Will later spent over a decade as a defense attorney, rising to the level of Partner, representing individuals, families, and businesses. However, driven by a deep-rooted desire to help those facing hardship, he transitioned to plaintiff-side practice at Jim S. Adler and Associates, where he advocated on behalf of those who had been injured, or lost loved ones, as a result of someone else’s negligence.
Before joining Amaro Law Firm, Will’s legal career spanned a wide array of practice areas—from eviction defense to prosecuting personal injury claims—further enhancing his trial expertise.
A proud Houstonian, Will holds a psychology degree from the University of Texas and graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law Houston. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and their dog. He is also an avid fan of outdoor activities, sports, music, and good food.
