On June 11, 2011, Houston authorities say two men were hospitalized after a car crash on the West Loop near Memorial Drive.  Sources say the driver of the car lost control and slammed into concrete barriers after the car was observed traveling at speeds in excess of 100 mph.  According to officers at the scene, the two men appeared to be intoxicated.
