On March 6, 2011, Houston police say a man who was riding in the bed of a pickup died after the vehicle was involved in a collision. Reportedly, the driver of a Chevrolet Trailblazer hit a GMC Sierra pickup truck at the intersection of St. Joseph Parkway and Milam Street. Witnesses say the driver of the pickup truck ran a red light. Reportedly, the man riding in the bed of the truck was thrown out and died at the scene. Sources say both drivers and two passengers were all transported to the hospital after the wreck.
