On May 23, 2011, sources say that two teens have been arrested in connection to a traffic wreck that killed a 16-year old teen in Beaumont, Texas. Reportedly, the student was partially ejected from a Cadillac Escalade and decapitated by a wire after the SUV she was riding in wrecked at 5th and South Street. Police say the 19 year old driver of the Escalade went several blocks with the teen’s body hanging out and then dumped her and her 14 year-old sister at 4th and Angelina Street before fleeing. Authorities say the driver of the Escalade is being charged with manslaughter.
