Arturo Tavira, 19, was driving a black Acura Integra southbound on North Interstate 35 near the 50 block at 2:15 a.m. when it left the roadway, crossed the southbound service road and crashed into a tree.

James Richard Bartlett, 76, was driving westbound on Anderson Mill Road just after 4 p.m. His car crossed the center line and struck another vehicle that was eastbound on Anderson Mill Road.
