Deputy and 18-Wheeler Collide Near San Antonio

According to reports, on September 13, 2012, a San Antonio deputy collided his truck with an 18-wheeler in the morning. Sources say that the deputy has been charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated. Reportedly, the accident happened on the access road of Interstate 35 near Rittiman Road. According to police, the 18-wheeler was traveling north on the Interstate 35 access road when it was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck coming out of the turnaround lane. Sources say the collision punctured the big rig's fuel tank, causing diesel fuel to spill onto the roadway.
