Fatal Rollover Wreck on Katy Freeway

On July 2, 2011, Houston police say a fatal rollover accident took place on the Katy Freeway near T.C. Jester Boulevard.  Sources say a driver of a pickup truck was speeding eastbound on Katy Freeway early in the morning before losing control and skidding into a grassing embankment.  Witnesses say the truck then rolled over several times before coming to a stop on the feeder road.  Reportedly, the two people riding in the truck were ejected during the accident resulting in one death.
