The driver in the fatal Texas 18 wheeler accident, identified as 55-year-old Glendall Bickwenhert of Kentucky, reportedly ran off the road and struck Mr. Manzano with his tanker truck. Police reports showed that Mr. Bickwenhert did not exhibit any signs of intoxication, exhaustion, or other types of impairment.

Abilene Fatal Texas 18 Wheeler Accident

A driver and his three passengers in a small sedan perished in a fatal Texas 18 wheeler accident when a tractor-trailer crossed the highway median and struck them head-on. The fatal Texas 18 wheeler accident occurred last Tuesday on Interstate 20 near the town of Merkel, about 20 miles west of Abilene. Police identified the driver as Jeffrey Knight, 50, and the passengers as Mary Knight, 51, Drew Reynolds, 23, and an unidentified juvenile. All but Mr. Reynolds died at the scene. Mr. Reynolds later died after being transported to a local medical facility.

A Corpus Christi man was taken to a medical facility with life-threatening injuries after a near-fatal Texas 18 wheeler accident. Witness reports stated that the man, who has yet to be identified, was trying to jump start his stalled car near Highway 286. A tractor-trailer made a wide right turn onto the highway and caught the man in its back tires. The man was reportedly dragged for ten feet until the driver noticed the problem. Local police and state troopers are investigating the causes of the near-fatal Texas 18 wheeler accident.
