On May 13, 2011, Houston officials say the driver of stolen Dodge Sedan crashed into a ditch with a 4 year old child after trying to evade police.  Investigators say they spotted the vehicle, which had been stolen two days prior, at an apartment complex at the 9900 block of West Montgomery Road.  Reportedly, the officers began to follow the vehicle but the driver accelerated speed and then crashed into a ditch.  Houston Police say the three men inside of the car tried to run with the boy but dropped him and were later detained.  Reportedly, the boy suffered no major injuries.
