On February 13, 2011, a teenager was killed in an auto-accident in southwest Houston. Houston police say the 17-year-old was driving a Honda Accord with two passengers in the 10400 block of the Southwest Freeway about 11:50 p.m. The driver reportedly lost control causing the car to overturn while exiting onto the service road near Beltway 8. Both the driver and the rear-seat passenger were ejected from the car on impact. The driver of the car died at the scene while the other two passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries.
