On May 17, 2011, sources say a 19 year-old man was hit by a blue Dodge Durango as he was walking across Navarro Street in Victoria, Texas. Reportedly, the driver of the Durango said she was turning left from Oak Street onto Navarro heading south when she hit the man. The driver was quoted as saying “The first time I saw him, he was on the hood of my car. He came out of nowhere.” Sources say the driver of the Durango stayed with the man until Victoria police and EMS arrived at the scene.
