On September 8, 2011, Houston authorities report that four people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash near downtown early in the morning. Reportedly, three individuals riding in a Nissan Maxima were speeding westbound on Sen. Lloyd Bentsen Highway when the driver crashed into the back of a blue Cadillac. Sources say the impact of the crash caused the blue Cadillac to crash into a taxi in the next lane. Reportedly, the outbound lanes of the freeway were closed while a cleanup crew cleared the scene.
