On May 10, 2011, Manvel authorities say a 9 year-old boy from Pearland sustained fatal injuries resulting from a golf cart accident with his sister.  Reportedly, the boy was driving his sister in the golf cart by the 9100 block of King Drive when the golf cart went into a ditch and rolled on top of them.  Authorities say the boy’s sister sustained non-life threatening injuries.  Reportedly, the children were staying with their older brother who remained at the house when the children left in the golf cart.
