On August 2, 2011, Houston police say a woman who was speeding hit some sprinkler water in the roadway and crashed into a tree. Reportedly, the accident took place in the 12000 block of Briar Forest Drive.  Police say the water was the result of several sprinkler systems along the road.  Reportedly, the woman died as a result of her injuries.  Investigators have not been able to determine if there was unusual amount of water in the roadway.
