On November 2, 2011, Houston police say a teenager was hit and killed by a pickup truck as she rode a bike in north Houston.  Reportedly, the girl was riding a bicycle in the 1000 block of Greens Road.  Witnesses said that the girl was riding on the sidewalk and then crossed into traffic.  Reportedly, the drivers of two cars were able to avoid hitting the girl, but she was then hit by a Dodge Ram.  Authorities say the girl died from her injuries.
