Two Men Flee Fatal Accident at Houston Ship Channel
March 12, 2011On March 12, 2011, Houston police say two men collided with a van on the 610 South Loop at Manchester near the Ship Channel. Reportedly, both a women and a boy inside the van were killed.
Houston Police say the two men were in a car that collided with a van containing six passengers. Reportedly, the impact sent the van crashing into the guardrail and both the woman and the boy were ejected over the side of the Ship Channel bridge. Witnesses say the two men inside the car got out and ran. Reportedly, the four other people in the van were transported to the hospital. Sources say the bridge was shut down for about two hours after the car wreck.
