Two Port Arthur Residents Killed In Weekend Crash
April 9, 2012On April 8, 2011, Louisiana State Police say two Port Arthur residents were killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near U.S. Highway 165 in Jefferson Davis Parish. Troopers say an SUV driven by 22-year-old Port Arthur resident was traveling west on I-10 Sunday when one of the rear tires failed, causing Williams to lose control of the vehicle. Sources say the vehicle then entered the median and rolled over, ejecting 3 occupants. Investigators say a 65-year-old and a 22-year-old, both of Port Arthur, died as a result of their injuries. An 11-month-old child who was also ejected was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
