On March 16, 2011, authorities say a woman died when she crashed into an 18-wheeler after she allegedly ran a red-light in east Harris County. Reportedly, the woman was driving a 1999 Mazda 626 and the car wreck occurred the 11700 block of Beaumont Highway near John Ralston. Authorities say the woman passed away after being flown to the hospital.
